Hear from the Collab community

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Collab. Dr. Segal and the whole team are incredible! From our first meeting I really felt that Dr. Segal listened to my concerns and goals and took the time to get to know me as a person and a patient. Everyone on the team is so kind and compassionate. The level of communication is excellent and far exceeds what I’ve experienced at other fertility clinics in the past. The facility is beautiful and comfortable which is a really nice bonus too!

CASEY S.

My husband and I are absolutely blown away by Collab Fertility and Dr. Segal! From our first meeting, I was immediately struck by her compassion, clear expertise, kindness, and exceptional communication. Having been through the difficult process of IVF for over a year and using two other clinics, I speak from experience that there is NO ONE better than Dr. Segal and her clinic. We hope that through our own experience, others can benefit in their fertility journey like we finally now are.

FAQ

What is infertility?

Infertility is the inability to conceive a child after one year (or six months, for women over the age of 35) of regular, timed unprotected intercourse. It can affect both men and women and may result from issues with the reproductive systems of either partner.

What makes Collab Fertility different from other fertility clinics?

Collab Fertility combines advanced reproductive medicine with a more personalized, whole-person approach to care called The Collab Way. In addition to IVF and fertility treatment, our team helps patients navigate factors like nutrition, environmental exposures, lifestyle, and emotional wellbeing through collaborative support and individualized treatment plans.

What is fertility testing?

Fertility testing includes blood work, tubal patency testing, and an ultrasound. Male fertility testing includes blood work and a semen analysis. These tests evaluate an individual's or couple's ability to conceive, providing a clearer picture of reproductive health and recommended treatment.

What is the average cost of fertility treatment?

The cost of fertility treatment varies depending on the procedure and your insurance coverage. We recommend scheduling an initial consultation to discuss your options and create a personalized treatment plan.

Do you offer fertility financing?

Yes. We partner with PatientFi, CapexMD, and Maven Wallet to offer flexible financing options for fertility treatments. Our financial counselors can also help you understand your insurance coverage, maximize fertility benefits, and explore available discount programs.

Do you accept insurance?

Collab is in-network with United Healthcare, Cigna, Hill Physicians, Health Net, and Carrot. For non-contracted health plans, we will provide a detailed receipt of services and will help you submit directly to your insurance carrier to maximize any reimbursement.

How soon can I start fertility treatments?

The timeline for starting fertility treatments varies depending on how quickly certain steps are completed. One of the lengthier steps is genetic carrier screening, which typically takes about three weeks for results. After receiving those results, you’ll meet with a financial counselor and then with a nurse to finalize the next steps.

Do you have a waitlist?

No. We do not currently have a waitlist for new patient consultations or fertility treatments. Our team works to provide timely access to care so you can move forward without unnecessary delays.
